My files have been held hostage since I lost my 200GB, I can no longer download them, a message tells me that I have to upgrade my plan. Which I will do. I will take the cheapest option, $0.99 for a month, I will empty my folder and permanently close my account. Unlike Dropbox, the GB acquired by inviting friends are lost. I have not received any notification to this effect and this morning I was unable to connect to my drive. It was only once I connected to my online drive that I noticed the hostage-taking. After recovering my files, I will close my account and will give a very bad rating to this company which blackmails its members to extort money from them because it is incapable of having clear communication with them.
[EDIT] I was unable to connect to my Z drive before realizing I had lost my 200GB, I am unable to connect to my Z after taking out a subscription. I have uninstalled and reinstalled BlompGo Windows but nothing helps, I am experiencing the same difficulties as when I first signed up. Blop is Beta and will remain Beta if the trend continues.
I'll close my account, Blomp is not cool

Hi philistin,
I understand its annoying when something doesnt work, and i get it that losing storage is not fun.
You have to understand that blomp is still in development (beta) and hasnt replied within the 2hours of your posts.
If you are a little more patient to wait for a reply they would have helped you out like they always do.
The part of losing GB is not a new concept, look at Mega for example, they give you 5gb per invite up to a maximum of 10 (50GB) for a maximum of 365 days, and they actually purge your data when you hit then threshold all the way down to 20GB.
Also blomp also states that all storage stays active for as long as your invite stays active, that either means your invite has to login every 30 days OR they have get a subscription.
for the future i would advice to read the ToS to understand the basics of a business model of a company, just like any other company blomp has to pay for server costs, if they would give everyone 200GB for free for life people would just make 100's of accounts and merge them via tools like rclone.
the 200GB you can get is a good test to see if you like the service, you wont find another cloud storage hosts that costs 1USD per TB.
Please remember that any issue you have you can ask for support, except a reply on weekdays within 24h and in the weekend up to 72h (most of the time).
Kind regards,

You have reported an issue with the Z-Drive and storage loss in the ticket here https://support.blomp.com/viewtopic.php ... 8d43#p4396. We are working on resolving these issues and will keep you posted on that ticket. We always take care of our community, but sometimes we need a bit more time to investigate. Thank you in advance for your patience.
Let us explain our referral program and what happens when you lose storage.
We did not corrupt your files. With the referral program, you earn 20GB for each active invite. However, if your invite gets deactivated, you lose the storage associated with that invite. You can regain your lost storage by inviting new friends or re-inviting lost invites. Even if you've lost storage and exceeded your storage limit, we won't delete your uploaded files immediately. Your files will be kept in the account for 90 days. After 90 days, you will lose the files, starting with the most recently uploaded, until your available storage is within the limit.
We are always here to help our community get the best service. Thanks to our Blomp family, we are constantly improving and creating a more user-friendly space.
If you have further questions, please let us know.
Best Regards,
