blomp.log size (>50gb...)

Post by yannbauduin » Thu Sep 19, 2024 7:49 am

Hello,

With blomp go under Windows, the “blomp.log” file grows to over 50Gb every two days.
I have to kill the rclone.exe process regularly to delete it...

Is there any way to disable this log file or limit its size?

Thanks

Hi yannbauduin,

The "blomp.log" file grows when Rclone is actively used, but the size you mentioned is unusually large. Unfortunately, there’s no built-in method to delete or limit the log size automatically.

If you have more questions please let us know.
Thank you for choosing Blomp.

Hello,

Sorry for the late reply, but in fact I had found the solution just after posting: I no longer use blompgo, but directly rclone without activating the log in the command line.

Being on a vps (windows server) with 160GB of storage, it was a big problem for me.

It was the Plex scans that were making the log grow endlessly...

Best regards

Hi yannbauduin,

We are glad that you found a solution and we are sorry that hear that you no longer use BlompGo.
No worries.
I reported the issue to our tech team. To fix the issue they are building software that has a functionality to reduce the log size. I will keep you posted.
